Pavlo Kovach

Was born 1959 in Svoboda village in Zakarpattia region.
Finished the School of Applied Arts (Uzhhorod) 1976-1980, since 1993 he is a Member of the National Artists’ Union of Ukraine.
He is a painter. Since 1991 started practicing installation and performance under the influence of Jerzy Onuch.
The principle of practice was an investigation of space in which artifacts were not determinant. The main study was time – space – object. The practice condensed in one formula: «Space is the body of time, and time is the mind of space».
