On August 28-September 3 “Days of Performances” will be held in Lviv. This is the only festival of art-performance in Ukraine, during which top masters from different countries of the world present their works.
Apart from the performances, meetings with artists, lectures, video shows, work shops, discussions and an experimental training program – “School of Performance” are also held as part of the festival.
This year artists from Thailand Sareena Sattapon, Mongkol Plienbangchang, and Nopawan Sirivejkul will show their performances for the first time. The festival will also feature masters from Great Britain – Sandra Johnston and Alastair Maclennan, Israel – Tamar Raban, Shahar Marcus and Tal Rosen, Poland – Janusz Bałdyga and Tomasz Szrama, Ukraine – Volodymyr Kaufman, Mariia Drozdova, Yaroslav Futymskyi, Glib Vysheslavskyi, Vasyl Bazhaj and Vitalii Shupliak. Stein Henningsen from Norway is also expected to participate in the Festival.
“Days of Performance” has been developing the most avant-garde genre of contemporary art in one of the oldest cities in Ukraine for ten years. Thanks to the festival, a new generation of Ukrainian performers is outlined, and Lviv is transformed into a center where performance extends to the artistic environments of other cities.
All performances will be open for free contemplation.
Registration for the “School of Performance” will begin on August 10
